Leave a Legacy of Protecting Children
Protecting children is one of the most important roles parents, aunts, uncles, & grandparents play. Investing in the Legacy Society helps ensure that children, and eventually their children, will live a life free of abuse.
To arrange for the Will County Children's Advocacy Center to be remembered in your will, please contact Lisa Morel Las.
The Will County Children's Advocacy Center's Legacy of Hope Society represents the future of the Center. Membership in this esteemed group is open to those who have included the Will County Children's Advocacy Center in their estate plans through a variety of planned gift options.
Whatever your estate planning objectives, our staff can share gift planning ideas to benefit your family and establish a lasting legacy.
Planned Giving Options
- Securities – Gifts of appreciated securities may offer more significant tax benefits than cash gifts. To have shares transferred to the Center, consult your broker/agent, security issuing agent or Center staff for instructions.
- Real Estate - The Center considers contributions of various types of real estate, including undeveloped land, farms, commercial buildings, vacation homes or residences. The tax benefits for capital gain properties may be more significant than for cash gifts. Please consult with your tax advisor to learn more about donations of real estate or contact the Center for additional information.
- Bequests – Bequests offer a way to leave a legacy after your lifetime. You may also establish a trust or annuity which can provide income to you or a loved one while also benefiting the Center.

Help us continue to provide hope, healing & justice for abused children.
Last year, the Will County Children's Advocacy Center served more than 660 Will County children (and their non-offending family members) who were sexually abused, severely physically abused, or who had witnessed a violent crime.
Children who have been victimized, and receive services are less likely to: abuse drugs or alcohol, grow up to become victims of domestic violence, become involved in some sort of criminal activity, suffer from depression, anxiety disorders, or post-traumatic stress disorder, and/or develop suicidal ideation and self-harm.
Your financial gift can make a profound difference in changing a child’s life.
