EMAIL SENT ON 10/17/23:
Because my MEN WHO COOK bulk email updates have been blocked by many of your email servers I have created a private update page for cooks at www.willcountycac.org/cook-updates. Each time I send a bulk email out to the cooks and sous chefs/assistants leading up to Saturday, I will also post it at that web page, so cooks can access the information.
Hi Cooks & Assistants:
We are ONLY 3 DAYS AWAY from MEN WHO COOK! Thank you to those of you who agreed to bring sample of your dish to the WJOL radio studio this week for an on-air taste-testing with Scott Slocum. Be sure and check out videos of those who
- Monday 10/16 - Mark Revis
- Tuesday 10/17 - Bernie Avila, Cesar Cardenas, and Paul Reyes
- Wednesday 10/18 - Ray Boutte' & CITGO Public Affairs Manager Jen Hannon
- Thursday 10/19 - Mokena PD Sgt. Jason Louthan (Would love to add another person to this slot - email Lisa ASAP if you can join us on Thursday in studio from 7:30AM to 8:00AM with a sample of the dish you'll be serving at MEN WHO COOK.)
- Friday 10/20 - Mike Rittof & Jay Bergman, and Scott Gryder & Gabby Shanahan
**IMPORTANT** Take a few minutes to review YOUR information on the signs that will be printed for display at your table (and the same info will be used with the voting process) at www.willcountycac.org/cook-updates. Be sure to double check that the following are correct:
- The correct names of the primary cook and the sous chef cook are listed. Be sure the names are spelled correctly
- The sign has the correct food category (i.e. appetizer, entree, etc.)
- Business or organization that you are representing is correct and spelled right
- The name of the dish you'll be serving on Saturday is correct.
I need all changes/corrections emailed to me by Wednesday 10/18 at 12 noon so they can be printed!
If you have any questions or concerns, the BEST way to reach me is text (preferred) or call at 815/641-7986.
Thanks!
Lisa

Volunteers will be available throughout the evening to provide cooks with supplies or any other needs.
